They have done this by leveraging their end-to-end development expertise as they work from land purchase to operation on most of their sites with their factory. This allows them to control the full process and take measured risks. They have an exceptional internal design team producing high-quality and sustainable schemes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the engineering development team and to have the autonomy to implement your ideas. You will be tasked to design and develop new products, continuously develop existing products, and improve engineering integration as directed by the Product Design Manager.
- Continuously develop existing products from opportunity identification to ‘rate-ready’ incorporation into the production system.
- 3D design and detailing of steelwork for modular steel framework or timber frame constructions.
- Work alongside the directors and senior leaders to develop technical solutions and improve engineering processes.
- Challenge and make recommendations for continuous product and process development.
- Organize, supervise and direct experimental and development work in-house and with external organizations.
- Support manufacturing process with DfMA principles for new and existing products.
The business is open to almost all engineering/design backgrounds and will offer extensive training and development to allow you to adapt to modular engineering quickly.
